With environmental crisis and failing financial systems, global infrastructure and mobility are starting to shrink.

The Trade Union project looks to explore ways of working that embraces the here and now of the geographical and social locality - exploring the local, not in opposition to the global, but as a way of sustainable and fleet footed mobility. Developing new forms of agency, economy and dissemination, the project will attempt to devise strategies to circumvent increasingly institutionalised structures - remaining agile whilst presenting successful models of development.

Trade Union will research and establish models of artistic practice that:

1. Explore geographical and social locality in order to develop and support an individual art economy.

2. Establish alternative and sustainable modes of communication and dissemination that promote and facilitate an individual art economy and allow the flow of ideas between other translocal units.
